Engage with our bespoke direct-to-disc lathe-cutting service, employing the Sillitoe SDMS Master Disk Recording System for high-fidelity vinyl records. Here’s how to take full advantage of our staged and cut-to-order options:

Initial Consultation & Planning

  • Schedule a pre‑cut consultation to discuss your project's scope, audio preparation, and desired features.
    • Confirm disc size (12", 10", 7") and speed (16, 22, 33⅓, or 45 RPM).
      • Discuss available features such as inside‑out grooves, concentric grooves, and locked grooves.
        • Confirm design and packaging options.

          Payment & Setup

          • Plan and pay for your initial production run, including packaging preferences. A minimum of 2 copies is required.

            Production & Test Cuts

            • Receive and review a test cut to ensure quality before full run production.
              • Provide feedback and approve the final test cut in writing. Once approved, no further audio changes can be made.

                Production Run

                • Upon approval, proceed with the initial production run based on your specifications and chosen packaging.

                  Repeat Orders

                  • Order additional identical batches without incurring initial setup or test-cut fees. Pricing is maintained for repeat orders as per initial agreement. 
                    • Any changes to packaging or disc treatments on repeat orders will trigger a repayment of setup fees and an adjustment to the cost of manufacturing.

                      Initial Consultation & Planning

                      • Discuss project details and receive guidance on mastering and packaging options.
                        • Select the disc size, speed, and any unique playback features preferred.

                          Payment & Setup

                          • Pay for mastering (if applicable), setup fees, initial test cuts, and one complete copy (cut record + packaging).
                            • Packaging and design decisions should be finalized and paid for.

                              First Copy Production

                              • Approve a promo cut to check quality—includes one promo photo from dub.4mt or provided artwork.

                                Private Shop Page & Sharing

                                • dub.4mt will host a private shop page for your project, including sales descriptions.
                                  • Determine the retail price to include manufacturing cost and client share. Client share is all revenue from sales beyond manufacturing cost, which is paid to dub.4mt
                                    • Set a minimum order threshold for production.

                                      Order Handling & Payouts

                                      • dub.4mt oversees payment collection and payouts per agreed schedule.
                                        • dub.4mt will manage all sales and manufacturing.
                                          • Shipping handled by dub.4mt or client preference.

                                            Packaging & Customization

                                            • Choose from various standard and custom jackets, sleeves, and labeling options.
                                              • Consider additional services such as:
                                                • Printing and Die-Cutting: $5 setup plus unit cost per packaging customization.
                                                  • Laser-Etching and Engraving: $10 setup, with pricing by the square inch or per disc.
                                                    • Custom Outer Sleeve Assemblies: PVC, PE, and PP options with a vibrant colour palette.

                                                    Terms & Ongoing Support

                                                    Financial Commitment

                                                    • Full payment of startup fee (mastering, setup, and first copy) is required for production booking.
                                                      • Cancellation policies:
                                                        • Full refund >14 days
                                                          • 50% refund 7–14 days
                                                            • no refunds <7 days prior.

                                                            Ownership & Rights

                                                            • Retain all rights to your music; promotional use by dub.4mt is allowed except by explicit client exclusion.
