We cut direct‑to‑disc using the Sillitoe SDMS Master Disk Recording System. Audio is engraved in real time onto blank plastic discs for one‑offs, dubplates, and short runs. All orders require direct consultation to confirm scope, inventory, and turnaround

technical options

  • Disc sizes: 12", 10", 7".
    • Speeds: 16, 22, 33⅓, 45 RPM.
      • Playback features: inside‑out grooves, concentric grooves, locked grooves.
        • Disc finishes: multiple colours and transparencies kept in stock; additional colours available by special order.
          • Mechanical/custom work: offset centre holes, custom CNC shape‑cutting, and direct‑to‑disc CNC engraving.
            • Signal path: hybrid digital/analog workflow.

              packaging & finishing

              • Sleeves & jackets: choice of standard and custom jackets in varied paper stocks and plastics.
                • Custom assembled sleeves: PVC, PE, PP options and a wide colour palette (including neon and specialty colours).
                  • Labeling & print: custom-printed centre labels, adhesive labels, inserts, and wraparounds in multiple stocks and textures.
                    • Special finishing: die‑cutting, laser-etching, plotter drawing, custom assemblies, and brokering for screen‑printing, risograph, stamping, etc.

                      typical runs & scheduling

                      • Short runs: typically 2–20 copies per run.
                        • Dubplates & one-offs available.
                          • For larger quantities we schedule additional runs; availability and turnaround depend on inventory and booking.
                            • All projects require a pre‑cut consultation to assess audio prep, sequencing, and lead times.

                              accessibility & payment options 

                              A 50% deposit is required to begin work; the remaining balance is due on delivery of the final product.

                              We recognize small‑run vinyl can be cost-prohibitive. Ask about cut‑on‑demand or staged options to make limited runs more affordable and accessible to artists and audiences.
